The one thing I always wanted was a beautiful smile. I was not on the movie star genetics level to have inherited such a smile. It has been a thing in my family as far back as I can remember. I was one of the very few family members that had not gotten a full dental restoration. My sister has a beautiful smile, but she has had a lot of work done. Now it was my turn. It just so happens, though, that my turn has come after our daughter has graduated college that our dentist in Wollongong is fixing my smile for our daughter’s upcoming wedding. She was getting married the same year she graduated college. I really wanted to surprise her with nice teeth to smile with for the wedding photos. Before, I would just smile with my lips closed together for all family pictures. I always looked like the halfhearted person even at the most joyous family picture moments.
It took a few visits, but there was no pain. I was nervous as nervous could be, but it was a very pleasant and rewarding experience to get all of my teeth fixed. Here I was willing to put up with whatever pain I needed to in order to get my teeth fixed, and there was none of that. Even the couple of root canals and getting the posts and crowns did not hurt. It was tedious to sit there laid back in that chair with my mouth wide open, but it did not hurt. I was nervous for nothing. Our family dentist in Wollongong gave me a perfect smile for our daughter’s wedding pictures. My wife says I look like a new man. I felt like a new man. I still do! I have even went out and bought better looking clothes and am back to running and biking to stay fit. The confidence my new smile gave me is going a long way.
